Camping at Weird and Wonderful Wood
Camping at Weird and Wonderful Wood is on the beautiful grounds of Haughley Park, just a short walk across the park from the event site.
It’s quite basic – there are toilets, water and a toilet disposal point. We don’t have showers or electric hookups.
We do have a fire pit, great for evenings by the fire, BBQs and relaxing.
The site is staffed by some of our wonderful crew, who will help you to your pitch and be available all weekend if you have any questions.
If you haven’t already bought your ticket you can do that here, just scroll down to the camping tickets. Don’t forget – camping tickets are just for your camping pitch – you will need to buy event tickets separately.
Here’s some important info about camping at Weird and Wonderful Wood
Please take note of this information. We are very lucky that Haughley Park have allowed us to have camping on this site so please look after it!
The campsite is in a lovely spot, and only a short walk from the event site. It is on a gentle slope and quite basic; there will be toilets and taps for drinking water and there is a large communal fire pit.
No BBQs or fires by your tent / camper vans – please use the communal fire-pit area.
Please take care by the fire-pit. STAY SAFE.
There are no electric hook-ups or showers. You will not be able to park next to your tent or caravan, but there is room to park very close by.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads as there are sheep in the adjacent fields.
Weird and Wonderful Wood ends at 6pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday. After this time the event site will be closed. Camping does not permit access to the event site other than during event opening times with a valid ticket. Camping passes only include a camping pitch, you’ll need to buy your entry tickets separately.
Disabled access: The ground is a little rough so unfortunately it is not suitable for standard wheelchairs, but we do have some disabled camping pitches that are nearer to the toilets and tap, and you can park by your tent. Please let us know if you would like to reserve one of these.
There is a noise restriction on the camp site so please do not bring speakers. The camp site is a family friendly space.
Haughley Park is a working farm with sheep and sheep fencing. Please take care to avoid any fences with barbed wire or electric fences.
We hope you have a great time. Stay safe and enjoy the event!
